Welcome to part one of our ten-part series, Yearning for Yield.

We are always looking for a way to add value to our customers. Our regularly scheduled Tuesday releases are focused on Macro, Industry and Company specific research in an effort to assist investors in the idea generation process.

As we have had conversations with our target reader demographic, we have found that not only is there an interest in deep value names in hated or left for dead markets but also in generating dividend yield to add income to the portfolio.

Our target demographic is sharp retail and high net worth/family office individuals and while many of these folks do buy individual stocks, most have the savings to live the life they want to and preservation of capital and income generation may be more front of mind for them.

With that said we have compiled a list of ten ideas, five equities and five corporate bonds to help generate yield in a repeatable and defensible way. We will release these pieces every Thursday/Friday for the next ten weeks - we hope it adds value for you!
